Welcome!

As you explore this site, you will see the students I have been privileged to teach this year and in previous years.  Not all of my students become music majors in college, but all develop their God-given abilities and experience the enjoyment of playing beautiful music.  My goal is to teach piano and to inspire students to be passionate about their playing.

I am a member and past-president of the North Carolina Music Association and a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers.  My students participate in the NCMA Festivals and scholarship competitions. They perform in informal repertoire classes twice during the school year and in the annual spring recital in May.

I teach theory, technique, classical repertoire, contemporary solos, hymn arrangements, and congregational-style hymn playing.
